CASAHL Announces Replic-Action™ 5.6 to Debut January 21 at Lotusphere; ecKnowledge® 9.0 to Follow Later in First Quarter

CASAHL Product Upgrades Bring Good News for Lotus Notes/Domino and SharePoint Users

SAN RAMON, CA, December 18, 2006 — CASAHL Technology, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise products and services for integrating, extending, and migrating IBM/Lotus and Microsoft® collaborative applications, will make available new versions of its two integration products — CASAHL ecKnowledge® and Replic-Action™ — in First Quarter 2007. Replic-Action 5.6, the latest version of CASAHL’s award-winning software for integrating Lotus Notes and Domino with DBMS systems, is scheduled to debut January 21, 2007, coinciding with the start of the 14th annual Lotusphere conference in Orlando, FL. The release of CASAHL ecKnowledge will follow later in the first quarter, with new features for SharePoint and Lotus Notes users, as well as an expanded set of APIs and inclusion of new ADO Provider technology for software developers.

Replic-Action 5.6 Upgrades Connection Drivers and Performance

Replic-Action 5.6 is certified to work with Lotus Notes and Domino versions R5 through R7 and includes new drivers tuned to work with the latest versions of Replic-Action connection database servers. The Oracle driver now supports Oracle version 10g R2, as well as 8i, 9i and earlier versions supported by Replic-Action 5.5. The SQL Server driver now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2005, including some of the new functionalities introduced in SQL Server 2005, such as support for managed code assemblies as stored procedures. The DB2 driver now supports authentication through Active Directory and Kerberos. DB2 administrators can also create bind packages on the database server without connecting through the driver. The Sybase driver now supports Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 15. The Sybase driver also supports authentication through Active Directory and Kerberos.

In addition, the Replic-Action 5.6 Composer™ and Server now include several “housekeeping” agents to perform routine operational maintenance tasks, such as maintaining scheduling options or fixing damaged data in the System Catalog. Replic-Action 5.6 also includes miscellaneous maintenance updates and patches to the previous release, as well as a number of optimizations to speed job execution.

Dr. Harry Wong, CEO and President of CASAHL Technology, states, “We continue to be in the forefront in the area of data integration and extension for both IBM and Microsoft collaborative applications. New drivers in Replic-Action 5.6 enable our customers to take advantage of more features in the latest versions of connected database servers — and our other product, CASAHL ecKnowledge, offers users a number of options for integrating IBM Lotus Notes with Microsoft SharePoint.”

CASAHL ecKnowledge 9.0 Enhances SharePoint™ Support and Adds New Tools for Developers

CASAHL ecKnowledge builds upon and extends the Replic-Action Server™ to a wide range of heterogeneous platforms and data sources. CASAHL ecKnowledge can integrate, extend, synchronize or migrate data and applications between IBM Lotus Notes and Domino (including QuickPlace and Domino.Doc), Microsoft collaborative applications (including SharePoint, .NET and other Office applications), and virtually any other enterprise data source, including DBMS, ERP, and CRM systems; XML, Web services, and more.

CASAHL ecKnowledge supports a wide range of SharePoint functionality (including standard and custom lists, document libraries and discussion boards) and can work with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), SharePoint Portal Server (SPS v2), and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. CASAHL ecKnowledge 9.0, now available in Beta version to selected customers and scheduled for release in First Quarter 2007, supports two-way selective integration, extension, and synchronization and one-way migration between SharePoint (and other Microsoft collaborative applications), IBM Lotus Notes/Domino and QuickPlace (one-way from Domino.Doc), and enterprise applications.

The ecKnowledge Server Development Kit™ (EDK), which ships with ecKnowledge, provides a set of APIs that can be used by developers to interact with the ecKnowledge Server through other application programs. CASAHL ecKnowledge 9.0 adds to the set of APIs that was started in release 8.4 and also includes new ADO Provider technology, capable of integrating SharePoint with other applications without needing to replicate the data.

“As Microsoft and IBM continue to invest heavily in collaboration technologies and products, many users and developers want to ensure continued return on their investments in both infrastructures,” states Dr. Wong. “CASAHL is excited to offer a solution that allows development and extension of collaborative applications that work well across IBM, Microsoft, and other collaboration platforms. CASAHL ecKnowledge data source connectors enable seamless and secure integration between SharePoint and other Microsoft and IBM collaborative applications, as well as enterprise data sources. And ecKnowledge provides a RAD environment to integrate data and applications with a minimal amount of programming.”
